In Spain, Caja de Ahorros del Mediterráneo (CAM) has created a new system for blind people, which allows them to carry out financial transactions with a special card adapted to the Braille reading system. The card «CAM Directo» has been modified, so the blind and sightless people will be able to make all kind of financial transactions in total security. This new product is the result of an agreement signed by CAM and ONCE (National Organisation of the Spanish blind people) a pioneer product in Spain and, we think, in Europe as well.
